G1:1 activities in GCCCE in Beijing

Dear G1:1 colleagues,

Mike: Thanks for your update!

On this side of the world, Mike just gave a very well-received 
lecture series last week on Mobile Learning in Taiwan, organized by
my colleague, Tommy Huang.

Also, in early June, in Tsing Hau University in Beijing,
we shall have a G1:1 Panel in the 
Global Chinese Conference on Computers in Education (GCCCE2006).
(Sorry, the medium will be in Chinese.)
I'll also talk about some research issues of 1:1 TEL at the closing of
GCCCE.

Finally, with the help of Prof. Lin in Beijing University and my
colleagues in Taiwan, the Chinese translation (both complex and simplified
Chinese)
of our "vision statement" RPTEL article will be up on the  G1:1 webpage
soon.
